Laptop Locator allows you to easily track your laptops. No matter if you have one laptop or a thousand, or system makes it easy and affordable to maintain peace of mind knowing that you can track your laptops.
How does this system work?
After our application is installed on your system, it will report back to
our web site on every reboot, or every 24 hours. When the computer reports back,
we obtain the IP address of the computer and store it in our database.
Additionally, our system keeps a detailed history of where your computer has been, the maximum number of detail records is determined by your account type.
Once the limit is reached, the oldest record is overwritten.
Can you give me the current address of the person that stole my computer?
Unfortunately that is not possible without special and expensive equipment. However our system allows you to print out a report showing the IP Address and the Internet Service Provider that was used to access the internet.
